Bhubaneswar: Odisha shooter Kashika Pradhan has been selected to represent India in the ISSF World Cup Rifle/Pistol to be held at the Ningbo Olympic Sports Centre in China from September 7 to 15.
The Bhubaneswar girl, who trains at the Odisha Aditya Birla Gagan Narang Shooting High Performance Centre, will compete in the 10m Women’s Air Rifle event in Ningbo.
It will mark Kashika’s debut on the international stage.
The 23-year-old Kashika caught the attention by winning gold medal in the 50m Rifle 3 Position event at the National Shooting Championship in Bhopal last December. She continued her impressive form at the National Selection Trials held in Dehradun, earning her a berth in the national team.
