Mumbai: Singer-music composer Amaal Mallik is being constantly criticised by netizens and fellow contestants for his bad behaviour, abusive language and hypocrisy on the Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss 19.
After being schooled by Salman and guest Gauahar Khan, Amaal was recently seen getting physical with Abhishek Bajaj.
Defending his brother’s actions and behaviour on the show, music composer Armaan Mallik slammed the show makers for projecting his brother in a bad light by sharing edited promos on social media.
Armaan took to X (formerly Twitter) to call out the ‘Bigg Boss 19’ team for showing Amaal negatively in the promos.
“The way they edit promos to make Amaal look like he’s wrong and then hide how others are provoking and misbehaving, is actually insane. This show and its toxicity are exhausting. Never liked it, never will. Just praying my brother stays healthy and sane through all this,” Armaan wrote on X, but later deleted his post.
When one of Amaal’s fans extended his support and urged Armaan not to dwell on the negativity, he replied, “I am not used to this kinda negativity. Not my cup of tea. I just want my brother to be happy and healthy. Nothing else matters.”
After Amaal got physical with Abhishek following a heated argument, netizens slammed him and urged the makers to kick him out of the show.
Following the eviction of Awez Darbar, Natasha, and Nagma Mirajkar, the show currently features 14 contestants.
