Mumbai: After Team India batter Virat Kohli was dismissed for a second consecutive duck in the ODI series against Australia, trolls blamed his wife Anushka Sharma for the former captain’s poor performance.
“I blame anushka sharma for his failure,” wrote one user.
Another person commented, “Virat Kolhi is a living example of how having a wrong partner can completely destroy your career. He might feel better about being turned into a ‘gentleman’. But it came at what cost?”
Some blamed her for doing ‘irreparable damage’ to Virat’s career, one troll even wished death for her.
“If God is real she died today in London,” the netizen posted.
The trolling didn’t sit well with Anushka’s fans, who rushed to defend the actress.
One fan wrote, “It’s cute how men’s fragile egos need a woman to blame every time their favorite player has a bad day.”
Another user pointed out, “That girl is being getting trolled since their dating era. These people just want to blame on others for the poor performance of their favs.”

Some even pointed out that this is the reason why Virat and Anushka relocated to London.
