Raipur: A woman constable of the district police force was injured in an IED blast while on area domination duty in the jungle hills of Gogunda area under the jurisdiction of Phoolbagdi police station of Sukma district in Chattisgarh, the ANI reported.
The constable sustained a leg injury in the incident. According to reports, she was being airlifted to Raipur by helicopter for advanced treatment.

An intensive search operation is being carried out by the security forces in the area. Further action against the Maoists in connection with the incident is being taken by the Phoolbagdi police station, Sukma Police sources told ANI.
