Mumbai: Amid rumours of Palash Muchhal’s cheating following the postponement of her wedding with Smriti Mandhana, fresh reports have claimed that the duo is set to tie the knot on December 7.
As rumours over the fresh wedding date started gaining momentum on Tuesday, Smriti’s brother Shravan Mandhana denied any such development.
“I have no idea about these rumours. As of now it (the wedding) is still postponed,” Shravan was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
Smriti and Palash’s wedding, originally scheduled to take place in Maharashtra’s Sangli on November 23, was abruptly called off after the would-be bride’s father suffered heart attack-like symptoms and was rushed to the hospital.
Shortly after, would-be groom Palash, too, was hospitalised, apparently due to stress triggered by the sequence of events.
Neither family disclosed the reason behind the postponement of the wedding, but social media was abuzz with speculation about Palash’s involvement with a choreographer being the reason for cancellation of the wedding.
Soon after, Smriti removed all the pre-wedding posts from her social media handles, which further fuelled cheating rumours.
