Angul: Thirteen Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) 2025 achievers, who received coaching for the examination through Jindal Foundation, were felicitated by the Angul location head and Executive Director (I/c) Pankaj Malhan.
The successful candidates were provided free, high-quality coaching under the Foundation’s flagship ‘UTKARSH – Train the Scholars’ programme.
“I wish you all the very best for your future professional endeavours. I am confident that the people of the state will greatly benefit from your services. I also hope you will continue to maintain synergy between government systems and public expectations to the best of your ability and judgment,” Malhan said.
The 13 achievers — Mita Sahoo (rank 64), Balaram Sahu (rank 140), Bishwajit Behera (rank 141), Anil Kumar Sahu (rank 150), Somit Kumar Seth (rank 183), Atal Dash (rank 201), Rajendra Kumar Ojha (rank 209), Deba Chandan Rout (rank 221), Saswat Soumyakant (rank 235), Jaganath Sha (rank 243), Mitarani Barik (rank 273), Bishal Ranjan Bhoi (rank 346) and Gyanendra Kumar Sahu (rank 387) — expressed their gratitude to Jindal Foundation for the support received through the UTKARSH programme.
Jayanta Kumar Mohanty, HoD-CSR of Jindal Foundation, and other officials were present during the felicitation ceremony.
UTKARSH initiative, launched in 2021-22, provides free coaching to 500 students every year and has benefited more than 2,000 students since its inception.
More than 150 students have cleared various government examinations, including the OPSC OAS, during the last four years.
