Mumbai: The new season of Ektaa Kapoor’s ‘Naagin’ is grabbing headlines for its larger-than-life promotional strategy in which a Mumbai Metro train has been transformed into ‘Naaglok Ki Train’.
A video doing the rounds on social media features a Ghatkopar–Versova Metro train, wrapped in a bold, reptile-scale design in shades of green, creating the illusion of a massive snake slithering through the city as the ‘Naagin’ logo dominates the exterior.
As commuters lined up to board the train, their ordinary commute turned into an immersive promotional experience as they found themselves surrounded by ‘Naagin 7’ visuals.
Reacting humorously to the extravagant promotion of ‘Naagin 7’, an amused commuter shared, “Naaglok ki train.”
Sharing his experience of travelling in the Naaglok Ki Train, another commuter wrote, “Just yesterday I had a ride. I thought an anaconda had arrived, and then that ad played in the metro — another scary moment.”
One user commented, “Height of advertisement.”
One wrote, “I swear I got scared when I saw it for the first time.”
Another joked, “Ichchhadhari Metro is coming to take revenge.”
A user quipped, “Real Naagin in Mumbai.”
