New Delhi: A video showing a priest performing the ritual of ‘Rudrabhishek’ inside a chartered saloon coach has gone viral on the social media.
The purported video, which OdishaBytes couldn’t verify independently, shows the ritual being performed inside the coach of Paschim Express.
According to a statement from Northern Railways, as cited by ANI, mentioned that the saloon car was booked by IRCTC on July 8. An advance payment of about Rs 3 lakh was made by the persons who had booked the coach as part of a commercial booking.
The coach was attached to the train travelling from New Delhi to Mumbai on July 10. The Railways claimed that no one was injured in the incident. The video, however, has raised questions over the safety and security of passengers.
