Bhubaneswar: Summative-1 examination (SA-I) for students from Shishu Vatika-III to Grade VIII across all government and government-aided schools in Odisha will be held in the fourth week of September, 2026.
The Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) has directed District Education Officers (DEOs) to ensure that the examination is conducted on time.
According to a communication issued by OSEPA, the assessment will be held for students from Shishu Vatika-III to Grade-VIII in all government and government Aided schools across the state as per the Academic Calendar 2026-27 and Assessment Framework for School Education.
It said the assessment framework for School Education communicated to all DEO-cum-DPCs vide letter No. 7855 dated 17.07.2026 must be followed scrupulously while conducting the Summative Assessment-I in all Govt./ Govt. Aided Schools.
DEO-cum-DPCs have been requested to take necessary steps for timely completion of SA-I in all schools.
