Mumbai: ‘Bigg Boss 20’ is already generating buzz ahead of its premiere, with several celebrity names doing the rounds as potential contestants.
The upcoming season is expected to bring together an interesting mix of television actors, reality stars, influencers, singers and a sporting legend.
From Aamir Khan’s brother Faisal Khan to Riya Ahir, here’s a look at the personalities rumoured to enter Salman Khan’s reality show.
Kushal Tanwar, popularly known as Gullu, is reportedly among the contestants set to enter Bigg Boss 20. He is already a familiar face on the reality-show circuit, having won MTV Roadies XX (Double Cross) and MTV Splitsvilla X6 (Splitsvilla 16).
Singer and social media personality Qazi Touqeer is another name reportedly in the lineup. He gained recognition after winning the reality singing show Fame Gurukul, which also featured Arijit Singh as a contestant.
Arishfa Khan, who began her career as a child actor before establishing herself as a social media personality, is also reportedly being considered for the show.
Rapper Yung DSA, popularly known as Yeda Yung, is another name linked to the upcoming season and is expected to enter the Bigg Boss house.
Uditi Singh is also reportedly among the contestants finalised for Bigg Boss 20. She has previously made headlines for her relationship with actor Karan Wahi.
Interestingly, Karan Wahi, who is currently participating in Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, is also rumoured to be joining the show. Karan and Uditi were reportedly in a relationship for nearly three years before parting ways in 2022.
Content creator Showik Chakraborty, brother of actor Rhea Chakraborty, is also reportedly set to be part of the Bigg Boss 20 lineup.
Television actor Khushi Dubey, known for shows such as Naagin and Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai, is reportedly among the contestants set to enter the show. Badho Bahu actor Kanika Mann is also expected to be part of the upcoming season.
Aamir Khan’s brother Faisal Khan is another prominent name reportedly associated with Bigg Boss 20. His potential participation has drawn attention, particularly after he recently publicly apologised to his family and expressed a desire to put their past differences behind them.
Television actor Mahhi Vij is also reportedly in talks to join the reality show. A familiar face on the small screen, Mahhi recently separated from actor-host Jay Bhanushali after 14 years of marriage.
Aman Gandhi is another name reportedly linked to the season. He has appeared in television shows including Kundali Bhagya, Naagin 3 and Daayan, and recently stepped away from Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hain.
Geeta Basra, who took a break from the entertainment industry after marrying cricketer Harbhajan Singh, is reportedly set to return to the limelight after several years away from regular screen appearances.
Amrapali Dubey is another name reportedly associated with Bigg Boss 20. A prominent name in Bhojpuri cinema, she was recently seen on the reality show Bhojpuri Bawaal and could bring a regional flavour to the season.
Rohed Khan, last seen in Sarzameen, is also reportedly among the names being considered for the upcoming season.
Boxing champion Mary Kom is perhaps one of the most unexpected names in the reported lineup. If confirmed, her entry would bring a sporting icon to a cast otherwise expected to feature actors, television personalities and influencers.
Bigg Boss 20 is also giving viewers a chance to decide one of the contestants. Under the ‘Fans Ka Faisla’ campaign, 27-year-old model and actor Rhiya Ahir is competing for a spot in the show.
Rhiya gained attention after she reportedly stopped a police van during a NEET paper leak protest in Mumbai. She is competing against Love Gill, with the final decision to be made through audience votes.
The contestant who receives the most votes will secure a place in the Bigg Boss house, giving viewers a direct say in the season’s lineup.
Singer Rhiti Tiwari is another name reportedly associated with the show. The daughter of Bhojpuri actor-politician Manoj Tiwari, Rhiti has released both cover versions and original songs. She is now expected to make her reality television debut on Salman Khan’s show.
If the reported names are confirmed, Bigg Boss 20 could feature one of the most diverse lineups in recent years, bringing together personalities from different fields.
