Mumbai: Samay Raina and Medha Shankr’s alleged relationship has once again grabbed attention, this time over wedding rumours.
After an anonymous Reddit post claimed that the two were planning to tie the knot in December, Medha called the speculation “baseless”, while Samay responded with a cheeky joke about his India tour.
Taking to Instagram Stories on Sunday, Samay reshared a post speculating about his alleged December wedding with Medha.
The comedian seemingly dismissed the rumour by adding the song “Jhooth Bole Kauwa Kaate” to the post.
He joked, “December mai toh mera India tour hai @medhashankr sorry will have to postpone.”
Medha, too, reacted to the speculation with humour.
After resharing Samay’s Instagram Story with laughing emojis, she posted a meme that read, “Me scrolling past all the baseless wedding rumours like.”
The wedding buzz reportedly began after an anonymous Reddit post surfaced online earlier this week.
The user, who claimed to be close to Samay’s family, alleged that they had learned from his mother that Samay and Medha were planning to get married in December 2026.
The post also claimed that the two were currently vacationing together.
“I’m very close to Samay Raina’s family, and after speaking to his mother yesterday, I can say that Samay Raina and Medha Shankr are planning to get married this December. For now, they’re both enjoying their vacation, but Samay wants to marry Medha as soon as possible,” read the viral post.
However, both Samay and Medha have seemingly dismissed the wedding speculation.
Medha recently appeared on India’s Got Latent Season 2 alongside Varun Dhawan and Sharon Verma, once again drawing attention to her equation with Samay.
While dating rumours surrounding the two have been doing the rounds for some time, neither Samay nor Medha has publicly confirmed that they are in a relationship.
