Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has extended the deadline for submission of online applications under the Bidesh Sikhyabruti Scheme to September 30. Earlier, the deadline was September 19.
According to the Higher Education Department, eligible SC and ST students seeking to pursue postgraduate and PhD courses at the top 200 QS-ranked foreign institutes and universities can now submit their applications by September 30.
Applicants are required to apply through the Odisha State Scholarship Portal (OSS Portal) at scholarship.odisha.gov.in within the extended deadline.
The Bidesh Sikhyabruti Scheme provides scholarship support to eligible students pursuing higher studies abroad.
The department advised prospective applicants to go through the detailed scheme guidelines available on the official website of the Higher Education Department before submitting their applications.
