Bhubaneswar: Rain coupled with lightning, thunder and gusty winds is likely to lash at least 20 districts of Odisha in next three hours, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning on Thursday.
In a message issued at 10 am, the IMD issued a yellow warning for Sundargada, Mayurbhanj, Baleshwar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Malkangiri, Puri, Khordha, Nayagada, Kataka, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Rayagada, Koraput and Kendujhar dustricts.

The weather agency has advised people of the affected districts to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and plan their activities accordingly for their safety.
