Sonepur: The police on Wednesday seized over Rs 2 lakh from near Seledi square in Sonepur and detained three persons in this connection.
Acting on a tip-off, the police were inspecting motor vehicles near Seledi Square and intercepted two motorcycles on suspicion. During the search, Rs 2.23 lakh was recovered.
Police arrested three persons from whom the cash was recovered. Further investigations are on.
