Khurda: A woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her in-law’s house in Badasireipur village under Banpur police limits of Khurda district on Thursday.
Sources said, the woman had lodged a complaint of dowry torture at Banpur police station on Wednesday night, following which, the police called the two families, sorted out the matter and sent the families home.
But the woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Thursday morning.
Her immediately family members lodged a complaint alleging murder over dowry. The police have detained her husband, aunt, sister-in-law, and brother-in-law. But the in-laws claim she committed suicide.
