French Riviera microstate Monaco will release postage stamps on Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th birth anniversary on October 2.
According to media reports, 40,000 stamps priced at 2.10 euros will be out for sale from October 2. These will be available at the ”Office des Timbres”, the ”Musee des Timbres et des Monnaies”- the post offices and philatelic counters.

This year, India is celebrating the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in August had released postage stamps on the Mahatma at Abu Dhabi in the presence of Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
