Angul: Unidentified miscreants brutally thrashed a loan recovery agent of a finance company at Gandhi Marg in Angul.
Though the indent occurred on October 2, it came to light only after a CCTV footage of the attack went viral on social media.

According to sources, four miscreants had waylaid the agent when he was going on his bike. They then thrashed the agent with cricket stumps, leaving him critically injured.
The miscreants had covered their faces and also their bike number plates to evade identification.
Police said they have launched an investigation based on the CCTV footage.
