Balasore: A newborn girl child was found abandoned in a temple near Gopinathpur Chhak under Soro police limits here on Sunday.
According to reports, a few devotees heard the baby crying and rescued her. She was found wrapped in a blanket inside a bag.
The newborn was rushed to Soro Community Health Centre and later shifted to Balasore district headquarters hospital when her condition deteriorated.
