Mumbai: Bollywood actors Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are now parents.
Announcing the news in a joint statement on Thursday, Richa and Ali said they were blessed with a baby girl on July 16.
“We are tickled pink with joy to announce the arrival of a healthy baby girl on 16.07.24! Our families are overjoyed, and we thank our well-wishers for their love and blessings!” Love, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal,” the statement read.
Richa, who informed fans about the news of her pregnancy in February, shared a post on Instagram five days ago in which she said she waiting for a “bud to blossom”.

Richa and Ali got married under the Special Marriage Act during COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. In 2022, they celebrated with haldi and sangeet ceremonies, and also threw a reception.
Both Richa and Ali are doing well on the work front. While Richa played the role of ‘Lajjo’ in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s popular web series ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Baazar’, Ali returned to OTT action as Guddu Pandit in the highly-appreciated ‘Mirzapur 3’.
