Chennai: Hours after quitting Congress on Monday, actor-turned-politician Khushbu Sundar joined BJP.
“Few elements seated at higher level within the party, people who’ve no connectivity with ground reality or public recognition, are dictating terms,” Khushbu wrote in her resignation letter to Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

The Congress’ former spokesperson from Tamil Nadu added that people like her, who were keen to work for the party sincerely, were being pushed and suppressed by such forces.
