Thiruvananthapuram: Malayalam actress Renjusha Menon was found dead in the bedroom of her flat here on Monday.
The 35-year-old Renjusha shared the apartment, in Kariyam, with her husband Manoj, who is also an actor.
Her husband apart, she is survived by father CG Ravindranath and mother Umadevi.
The preliminary conclusion is that the actress committed suicide. However, police are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death. They are waiting for the autopsy report.
According to Manorama, the actress was facing financial difficulties for the last few months.
Her last post on social media, a day before her death, was a funny video on Instagram along with ‘Anandha Ragam’ co-star Sreedevi Anil.

The tragic news left her family and friends shocked and heartbroken.
A native of Kochi, Renjusha started her career as a TV show anchor before she started working in TV serials. Following her small-screen acting debut in the popular serial ‘Sthree’, Ranjusha went on to feature in several TV shows and movies including ‘City of God’, ‘Marykkundoru Kunjaadu’, ‘Bombay March’, ‘Karyasthan’, ‘One Way Ticket’, ‘Athbhutha Dweepu’.
Renjusha, who was a producer of some serials, was also a professional Bharatanatyam dancer.
