Mumbai: After beau Arjun Kapoor declared publicly that he is not dating anyone right now, his former girlfriend Malaika Arora has been sharing cryptic posts about her personal life.
Though Malaika didn’t announce her separation from Arjun publicly, the model turned actress’ posts on social media suggest that she is deeply hurt after the breakup.
Malaika’s recent post on her Instagram stories was a re-shared post on relationships. The post had three relationship options – in a relationship, single and hehehe, and the last option was marked.
Malaika re-shared the post hinting that her relationship status after breakup with Arjun is ‘hehehe.’
At the Diwali party hosted by politician Raj Thackeray at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park, Arjun, when asked about Malaika, stated that he is single right now.
“Nahi abhi single hoon. Relax karo (No, I’m single now. Relax),” said Arjun, as the crowd screamed Malaika’s name.
“Inhone ‘tall aur handsome’ bola, aesa lagraha hai ki shaadi ki baat karrahe hai. Isliye maine bola relax karo pehle (He said, ‘Tall and handsome’, I felt he was talking about marriage. So I said relax),” he added.
Divulging details about Malaika and Arjun’s separation, a source had told Pinkvilla, “Malaika and Arjun had a very special relationship, and both of them will continue to hold a special place in each other’s hearts. They have chosen to part ways and will maintain a dignified silence in this matter. They won’t allow anyone to drag and dissect their relationship.”
Malaika and Arjun started dating in 2018 after the former divorced her husband Arbaaz Khan in 2017.
Malaika and Arbaaz, who got married in 1998, have a son named Arhaan Khan.
