Bhubaneswar: The COVID caseload in Odisha hovered around 200 for the second consecutive day on Saturday as 208 more people, including 23 in the age group of 0-18 years, tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state had reported 170 new cases, the lowest in the last seven months, on Friday, 351 on Thursday, 322 on Wednesday, 327 on Tuesday and 316 on Monday.
According to the I & PR department, 119 of the new infections are from quarantine and 89 local contacts. Khurda district registered the highest 99 cases, followed by Cuttack (20). Nine districts reported nil cases.

Besides, 23 are from the state pool.
With these cases detected from 51,830 samples, the test positivity rate stood at 0.40 per cent. The TPR was 0.30 per cent on Friday.
While the COVID-19 tally has touched 10,43,151, Odisha now has 3,319 active cases.
