Mumbai: After Tejasswi Prakash declined to participate in a joint interview with co-star Surbhi Chanda during the promotions for web series ‘Psycho Saiyaan’, the latter reportedly exited the venue in tears.
According to a report in The Indian Express, Tejasswi’s arrival for the promotional event was delayed due to wardrobe-related issues.
Her team informed media later that Tejasswi wanted to appear for solo interviews instead of appearing alongside Surbhi, which created an awkward atmosphere at the venue and eventually, the latter left the venue in tears.
Tejasswi also reportedly cancelled her lunch break with co-star Anud Singh Dhaka, which left him frustrated.
“No worries, I will faint here, but we will carry on. After all, we are all here solely for Tejasswi,” Anud was quoted as saying by Indian Express.
When approached, Surbhi told India Forums, “It was an unfortunate situation, but nothing to comment about. Thanks for reaching out.”
Tejasswi has not yet responded to the surrounding.
The web series ‘Psycho Saiyaan’ also features Ravi Kishan. It was released on Amazon MX Player on February 25.
