After PM, Union Ministers Amit Shah, Jaishankar Get COVID Vaccine
New Delhi: After Prime Minister Narendra Modi got vaccinated, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and External Affairs minister S Jaishankar also received the jab on the first day of COVID-19 inoculation drive for senior citizens and those above 45 with comorbidities.
Shah got his first dose at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram.
Jaishankar, after being administered the vaccine, clarified that he got Covaxin. Prime Minister Modi, too, received Covaxin.

The Bharat Biotech-developed Covaxin vaccine has faced obstacles because many had doubts and still do about its efficacy and safety.
