Sambalpur: Close on the heels of alleged gang-rape of a Plus-III girl student in Sundargarh, another college girl, who is reportedly a minor, has accused her teacher of raping her in a forest at Kuchinda in Sambalpur.
Though the incident took place on July 11, the girl lodged a complaint at Kuchinda police station on Wednesday after she found a video of her sexual assault doing the rounds on social media since July 14.
In her complaint, the girls alleged that the teacher took her to a forest on pretext of showing her a shooting of an album. After reaching the forest, the accused raped the girl. He also recorded the act on his cellphone.
The accused teacher is absconding.
Meanwhile, police have arrested three students in connection with the alleged gang-rape of a college girl at Balisankara in Sundargarh district on June 26. The arrested have been identified as Lilindra Oram, Ranjit Oram and Kishore Oram.
Efforts are on to apprehend another accused, who is on the run, police sources said.
The accused, who are her classmates, had kidnapped her while she was returning home from college. They then took her to a nearby fores and allegedly raped her.
