Bhubaneswar: The Air India has decided to resume direct flight service between Bhubaneswar and Surat from September 9.
It will fly passengers between the two cities twice a week on Monday and Wednesday.
According to the schedule, a flight will leave Surat at 3.30 pm on both Wednesday and Monday and arrive at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar at 5.20 pm while another will leave Bhubaneswar at 4.20 pm and reach Surat at 8.20 pm.
It may be mentioned here that the direct flight service between the two cities was launched on January 20 this year. However, it was suspended in view of the COVID-19 outbreak.
