Mumbai: Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Prithviraj’, in which former Miss World Manushi Chhillar will make her Bollywood debut, has got a release date.
The Bollywood superstar himself revealed the big date on social media and also shared posters from the film on Thursday.
Prithviraj, whose January release had to be postponed due to the Omicron-driven third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, will now be released in theatres on June 10 in three languages — Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Manushi will be essaying the role of Emperor Prithviraj’s wife Sanyogita in Yash Raj Films’ historical drama, which has been directed by Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi.
“The grand Samrat #Prithviraj Chauhan’s historic journey is coming to the big screen on 10th June in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu,” Akshay tweeted. He described the film as the ‘role of a lifetime.’
