Mumbai: Celebrity couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor requested paparazzi not to click and publish daughter Raha’s photos during a recent media interaction.
Explaining their decision, Ranbir said, “Hum industry mein born hue hain and all of you guys are my family. Koi legal or illegal route lene ki koi zaroorat nahi hai hume. Hum jab aap logon ko bulate hain aur aapse binati karte hain aap sunte ho aur jaise aap ko kuch chahiye humse hum dedete hain… I think we all work together, we give our words to each other. aaj humne aap sabko bulaya hai and aapse binati karenge kyuki it is for the betterment of our child. We were born in the industry and media is our family. We don’t want to take any legal or illegal route as when we request you for privacy, you should respect it. We give you whatever you ask for, so you too should respect our privacy as it is for the betterment of our child.”
He added, “It might sound like a very privileged problem and I understand that but we are trying as parents what we can to protect our child. Jitne karsakte ain utna karenge. Now if someone clicks her picture and posts it and it spreads like wildfire then that is not in our control. But you are like our family and we can request you not to click Raha’s pictures.”
Alia, who will be turning a year older on March 15, hosted a pre-birthday bash for the paparazzi during the interaction on Thursday.
Alia and Ranbir also shared updates about their upcoming projects.
Talking about Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’, Ranbir said, “Love and War is something which is every actor’s dream. To work with brilliant actors like Alia and Vicky and to be directed by the master – Sanjay Leela Bhansali.”
Ranbir and Alia will also be seen in ‘Brahmastra 2.’
“Brahmastra 2 is something that Ayan has been nurturing as a dream for a very long time. He is currently working on War 2. Once this releases, he will start pre-production of Brahmastra 2. It is definitely happening. We haven’t really announced much of it, but then some really interesting announcements (will be made soon) regarding Brahmastra 2,” the actor said.
