Mumbai: Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone’s much-awaited film with director Atlee is now officially titled ‘Raaka’.
The makers revealed the new title of the project, earlier known as AA22xA6, along with a new poster on Allu Arjun’s 44th birthday.
In the new poster, Allu Arjun appears in a bold new look with a bald head.
His face is partly hidden behind thick fur, and a sharp tusk-like detail adds a wild feel.
His intense eyes give him a powerful and mysterious look.
Along with the poster, the makers wrote, “#AA22xA6 is now #Raaka. Prepare yourself for a vision beyond limits.”
Fans had been waiting for this announcement for a long time, and the reveal on Allu Arjun’s birthday made it even more special.
Apart from Allu Arjun and Deepika, the film is also expected to feature actors like Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, and Janhvi Kapoor in important roles.
There were recent rumours that Shah Rukh Khan would launch the teaser at a virtual event with the cast and director.
However, reports say that this is not true, and no such event is planned right now.
The film is said to be made on a huge budget of over ₹700 crore and is being produced by Sun Pictures.
The next shooting schedule is expected to begin soon at a studio in Mumbai, with filming likely to continue throughout the year.
If all goes as planned, the shoot may be completed by the end of 2026.
