Cuttack: A day after a BJP MLA contracted COVID-19 in Odisha, a first-time legislator of the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) also tested positive for the virus on Tuesday.
According to sources, Salepur MLA Prasant Behera, his PSO and driver have been infected. They have been shifted to a COVID hospital in Cuttack for treatment.

The local administration has started extensive contact tracing since the MLA had attended multiple programmes in the area along with his supporters, recently, the sources added.
