Anubhav Mohanty Heaps Praise On ‘Dearest Friend’ Jagrati Shukla Again; Prakruti Mishra Reacts
Bhubaneswar: Amid his bitter legal feud with wife Varsha Priyadarshini, actor-turned-politician Anubhav Mohanty has been putting up posts on his ‘dearest friend’ Jagrati Shukla, a journalist and consultant at Lok Sabha TV.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, he described her as a ‘self-made, empowered lady’.
Anubhav wrote, “It’s always lovely meeting a self-made, empowered lady like you my dearest friend Jagrati Shukla. Long way to go”. They are all smiles while having food.

Actress Prakruti Mishra reacted to the post with a heart emoji. She has been supporting the actor through his pending divorce with Varsha.
“Dear Phapun Bhai, everyone who knows you closely knows the entire scene in detail. You being a respectful person don’t need to give clarification. Let the world around bark. TRUTH SHALL PREVAIL SOON. Be strong. We are with you.”

However, this is not his first on Jagrati.
In December last year, the Kendrapada MP had shared a picture to thank his friends – Jagrati and his lawyer Ashwani Dubey – who have stood by him and been the reason for his smile.

Jagrati was heavily trolled following this post and had threatened legal course of action against abusive comments by fans of Varsha.
Identifying herself as a “good friend” of Anubhav, Jagrati had said that she shared a cordial professional relationship with the Parliamentarian.
She also requested Union Minister Prakash Javadekar, the Odisha chief minister and the National Commission for Women to look into the abusive comments and trolls against her. “I also request to take an exemplary step and let everyone know that all are equal in the eyes of law and order whether someone a celebrity like Varsha Priyadarshini or a common citizen of India like me or anyone else,” the Facebook post stated.
In November 2020, Anubhav had also shared a post of Jagrati on his Facebook page appreciating her for wearing a Sambalpuri saree.

In April that year, Jagrati had posted a picture on Instagram in which she was seen gifting the politician her poetry collection ‘Ruh’.
She wrote: “He is an artist, people’s choice politician, very humble human being. It was a pleasure for me to gift my poetry collection “रूह” to an artist like him
”
Jagrati is known for her controversial tweets. In 2018, Twitter had suspended her account for violating its “hateful conduct” rules.
In September 2020, Varsha had filed a domestic violence case against her husband under several sections of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act and accused him of physical and mental torture and violence, including financial treachery. She had also filed another case in the district family court under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, in which she, as an aggrieved party, sought a decree of restitution of conjugal rights.
These petitions were filed after Anubhav moved a Family Court in New Delhi in July that year for divorce from Varsha on grounds of cruelty while claiming that the marriage between them has never been consummated.
