New Delhi/ Bhubaneswar: Actor-turned-politician Anubhav Mohanty and journalist-author Jagrati Shukla are now officially man and wife.
After the March 7 engagement, the duo tied the nuptial knot in accordance with Odia rituals at a temple in the national capital on Tuesday (March 11) evening. While Anubhav wore a self-embroidered ivory sherwani and an orange pagadi, Jagrati looked resplendent in a red lehenga, featuring gold embellishments and embroidery paired with a matching blouse. They wore the traditional mukut during the wedding.

Anubhav and Jagrati had made their relationship public as they got engaged on March 7. The private engagement ceremony, which was also held outside Odisha to maintain privacy, was also attended by family members and close people.
Anubhav and Jagrati have been in news since the former moved court for divorce from Varsha Priyadarshini, also an actor. He often shared posts in admiration for her. Jagrati also found herself in the midst of their messy legal battle after being trolled by fans for allegedly being the third wheel in the erstwhile Ollywood’s power couple’s life.
The Orissa High Court granted divorce to the celebrity couple on December 21, 2023.
