Mumbai: After getting embroiled in the controversy around Samay Raina’s ‘India’s Got Latent’, social media influencer Apoorva Mukhija returned to social media last month.
The content creator on Sunday shared a photo of herself on Instagram, with the caption reading, ‘Alia Bhatt from Aram Nagar.’
Apoorva is seen dressed in a beige short dress, with a criss-cross mesh pattern. Her dress had a striking resemblance to the Gucci saree which Alia wore at the closing ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival 2025.
Fans had mixed reactions to Apoorva’s post, some praising her look and others disappointed with the comparison.
“You look more beautiful than Alia,” commented one user.
Another remarked, “You slayed in this.”
“Not even close,” wrote a disapproving person.
“You shouldn’t even compare,” posted another.
Alia represented the cosmetic brand L’Oréal Paris at the Cannes Film Festival.
Apoorva was recently seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Nadaaniyan’, which featured Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor in lead roles.
She will next be seen in the reality show ‘The Traitors’, hosted by Karan Johar. The show will also feature Elvish Yadav, Uorfi Javed, Raj Kundra, among others.
‘The Traitors’ will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from June 12.
