New Delhi: The application fee for the UGC-NET Exam for December has been increased across all categories.
The revised application fees as notified by UGC-NET are as follows:
- General: The fee has been hiked from Rs 800 to Rs 1000
- OBC/EWS: The fee has been increased from 400 to Rs 500
- SC/ST/PwD/Transgender: The fee is now Rs 250 as against Rs 200 paid in the June exam
The registration process is being done through online mode only and the last date for it is October 9.

Online registration from September 9 to October 9
Issue of admit card on November 9
The examination will be conducted from December 2-6
Declaration of results on December 31
About UGC NET:
The UGC he National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted for determining the eligibility for Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship or both in Indian universities and colleges.
The examination is conducted by the National Testing Authority (NTA)
