Mumbai: Speculation is rife that celebrity couple Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash are set to tie the knot this year.
However, when SCREEN asked Karan about his wedding plans, the actor said that while many people are looking forward to their wedding this year, he cannot confirm anything as of now.
“I don’t know much about this. A lot of people want that, but I don’t have any comments on that,” Karan said.
In an earlier interview, Karan shared plans about his big day. “I am a big foodie. But when it comes to the wedding food, I would like to leave it to the professionals,” told IANS
When asked if he wants a grand wedding or an intimate one, he added, “I think when the time is near, I will start thinking about it. I will start thinking about whether I want it big or simple.”
Meanwhile, Tejasswi’s mother, who appeared on Celebrity MasterChef to support her daughter, confirmed: “Issi saal ho jaaegi. (This year, they will surely get married.)”
When Farah Khan congratulated Tejasswi after her mother’s confirmation, the actress blushed and said, “Aise kuch baat nahi hui hai. (Nothing has been decided as of now)”.
Hinting at the possibility of a court marriage, Tejasswi said, “I am not big on that. I am okay with a normal court marriage. Hum log phir ghumenge, phirenge, aish karenge types.”
Karan and Tejasswi met on the Salman Khan-hosted reality show ‘Bigg Boss 15’ and fell in love. They have been dating since then.
