Social media has been flooded with tweets and memes after the Supreme Court granted interim bail to Republic TV editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami on a bond of Rs 50,000 in a 2018 abetment to suicide case.
While his supporters celebrated, some like Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) president Dushyant Dave questioned the apex court’s “urgent” listing of Goswami’s petition before the two-judge bench on Wednesday.
Here are some pro-Arnab tweets with #ArnabIsBack:

Justice Chandrachud making a strong case for liberty, and it is long overdue that the Supreme Court lay down the law when it comes to personal freedom. However, the principles outlined today must apply across the board to everyone. Bail should be the norm, jail the exception. https://t.co/NJcWrmkP70
