Bhubaneswar: Chief Engineer-cum- Chief Electrical Inspector, Sambalpur, Sunil Kumar Panda, is under Odisha Vigilance scanner for allegedly amassing illegal wealth. As per the preliminary estimate , the Vigilance has unearthed assets worth Rs 3.39 crore so far.
Raids are currently on at four places in Sambalpur and Khurda districts:
1) His residential building – Flat No. 201, Block-A, Green Park Residency, Sambalpur,
2) Parental house – Flat No. 203, Block- A, Green Park Residency, Sambalpur,.
3) Flat No. H-022, Cosmopolis Project, Khandagiri in Bhubaneswar
4) His office chamber at Sambalpur
The assets unearthed so far include:
1) One 3 BHK Flat No.201, Block-A, Green Park Residency, Sambalpur, preliminary valuation of which is Rs 64.21 lakh.
2) Two plots in Ainthapali under Sambalpur town.
3) One shop booked in Grand Bazaar, Bhubaneswar, the cost for which paid to the owner is Rs.1,04,71,428
4) One plot booked with Ms Assotech Builders, the cost for which paid
to the owner, M/s Assotech Sungrowth, Bhubaneswar is Rs 61.65 lakh.
5) Bank deposits worth over Rs.32.04 lakh
6) Insurance deposits worth Rs.19.80 lakh
7) Investment in Mutual Fund worth over Rs.16.28 lakh
8) One four wheeler worth Rs 17.41 lakh and one two wheeler
9) Household articles, gold ornaments, cash and other movable and
immovable properties worth over Rs.15.77 lakh.
