Banking Assistant Under Odisha Vigilance Lens; 3 Two-Storey Bldgs, 9 Plots & Tractor Unearthed

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Monday unearthed three double-storey buildings, 1 single-storey building, 9 plots, 1 four wheeler and one tractor along with other assets during simultaneous searches on properties of Banking Assistant of Bhawanipatna Central Cooperative Bank, Komna Branch in Nuapada district, Pradeep Kumar Chandrakar.

The raids are being conducted at 4 places by a team was led by 3DSPs, 3 inspectors and other staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge,Vigilance, Bhawanipatna:

1.Residential double-storey house at village Beltukuri, Nuapada district

2. Another double-storey building situated over plinth area of approx 3000 sqft at Beltukuri, Nuapada district

3.An under-construction house over plinth area of approx. 3000 sqft at Beltukuri, Nuapada district

4. Office room at Bhawanipatna Central Cooperative Bank, Komna.

ASSETS UNEARTHED

1) One double-storey building over plot No.1944 of area 3500 sqft at Beltukuri, Nuapada.

2) Two double-storey buildings over plot No.1955 at Beltukuri, Nuapada.

3) One single-storey building under construction over plot No.1377 and Khata No.482/124 having plinth area of about 3000 sqft at Beltukuri, Nuapada.

4) Nine plots in and around Khariar and Nuapada.

5) 1 four-wheeler, 1 tractor and 1 two-wheeler.

The Vigilance release said bank and postal deposits and investment in insurance policies are under verification. measurement and valuation/assessment of the above buildings/plots is being carried out by Vigilance Technical Wing. Searches are continuing.
