BDA To Launch Ekamra Walks With 5 Diverse Trails In Bhubaneswar From Jan 20
Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) will launch the third edition of Ekamra Walks to help the participants explore the rich cultural tapestry of Bhubaneswar, the “Temple City of India”.
Commencing on January 20, the Ekamra Walks will be organised every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until the end of March. Under the expert guidance of knowledgeable and experienced guides, it promises to unravel captivating tales that span centuries and generations.
This edition introduces diverse trails including the Nature Trail set in three locations in Deras and Nandanakanan, the Culture Trail showcasing Odia and tribal culture, the Little Explorer’s Trail designed for children and the Food Trail, delving into forgotten Odia recipes.
The event will also feature the Essence of Odia trail, coinciding with the Biswa Odia Bhasa Sammilani from February 3 to 5 in the state capital. Participants will delve into Tantra Sadhana, an ancient spiritual practice intricately woven into Odisha’s cultural fabric.
While navigating through the city’s culinary landscape, one can savour the traditional dishes like Dalma, Pakhala, and Chhena Poda – the culinary manifestations of Odisha’s cultural heritage. Beyond gastronomic delights, participants can explore exquisite temples, ancient structures and architectural wonders that define Bhubaneswar’s enchanting landscape.
