Chennai: Amid the ongoing controversy over Udhayanidhi Stalin’s alleged vulgar remark, Trisha Krishnan’s “Be unbothered” post has gone viral.
Although the actor shared the cryptic message before the controversy erupted, netizens have since flooded the comments section, with many linking the post to the ongoing row.
Trisha captioned the post, “It’s a choice to be unbothered. Choose it. 🤎 P.S. Smile 😉”
Reacting to the post, one user wrote, “So much respect for Thalapathy! A brave leader who always stands up for truth and dignity. Stay strong, Trisha!”
Another commented, “Women deserve dignity and respect. More power to you.”
A third user wrote, “Go and file a case against Udhay for speaking bad things about you.”
One person simply commented, “Stalin,” along with cockroach and slipper emojis.
Others joined in with remarks such as, “My algorithm is doomed,” and, “Instagram suggested this post after Jr Stalin’s arrest,” accompanied by laughing emojis.
Another user called Trisha the “most powerful lady in Tamil Nadu,” while one comment read, “When you’re the CM’s bestie.”
Defending the actor, one user wrote, “All the men abusing a woman in her personal space — ‘Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.’ Trisha did nothing wrong. If you can’t question the man who wronged two women, you can shut the hell up.”

The controversy erupted during one of Udhayanidhi Stalin’s public addresses, where he was criticising Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay.
As members of the crowd reportedly began chanting Trisha’s name, Udhayanidhi made a remark in Tamil that loosely translates to, “Wherever water comes, whether it comes or not, water should come there.”
He immediately clarified that he was referring to the Cauvery water issue.
However, the comment drew criticism because it came moments after the crowd chanted Trisha’s name, with many alleging it carried a vulgar or sexual innuendo.
Following the controversy, Vijay’s TVK approached the National Commission for Women (NCW) and also lodged a police complaint against the DMK leader.
