Beach Shacks Make A Happening Debut In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: For the first time in Odisha, the state government has set up beach shacks at the Marine Drive Eco Retreat near Konark, offering a perfect getaway for tourists and locals alike.

Envisioned by Odisha Tourism, the beach shacks boast of pretty happening and energised ambience, great music, chilled alcohol and delectable cuisines and all this with view of soft sand and sound of blue waves.

There are four shacks which will be open from 8 am to 11 pm to all to visit at the Marine Drive Eco Retreat from December 18 till January 31, 2020.

Moreover, the crowd will be treated to cultural performances and a light and sound show at 6 pm every day.

Vishal K Dev, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Odisha Tourism, said, “Beach shacks are very popular not just among youths, but also among families. We wanted to give not just the in-house guests but everyone a chance to come and soak in the ambience of the sea and Marine Drive Eco Retreat. With Christmas and New Year just around the corner, this is a perfect place to be at.”
