Being Shah Rukh’s Wife Affects Gauri Khan’s Work; Here’s How

Mumbai: It doesn’t always pay to be a superstar’s spouse. In fact, there can be an adverse effect as well.

An interior designer, Gauri revealed that many people refuse to hire her because she is Mrs Shah Rukh Khan, contrary to popular belief.

“When considering a new project, there are some people who consider me as a designer. But there are also times when it does not work out that way because at times, people do not want to get attached to the baggage of working with Shah Rukh Khan’s wife. It works against me 50% of the time,” she told Karan Johar in the upcoming episode of Koffee With Karan Season 7.

The 12th episode, to be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar from September 22, will feature Gauri, Maheep Kapoor and Bhavana Pandey.

Gauri also had a dating advice for her glamorous daughter Suhana Khan.
