Bhubaneswar: Football buffs in Odisha can’t wait for high-quality action.
Come April 20, the Kalinga Super Cup 2025 will kick off at the Kalinga Stadium here, with the final scheduled for May 3.
Deepankar Mohapatra, Director of Odisha’s Department of Sports & Youth Services, conducted a detailed review of on-ground preparations on Friday to ensure all logistics, infrastructure and operational elements are in place.

All 13 ISL teams and three from I-League were scheduled to vie for the prestigious knockout tournament. However, with Churchill Brothers pulling out, ISL champions Mohun Bagan Super Giant have been handed a bye and will start from the quarterfinals.
The other 14 teams will face off in pre-quarterfinals.
Defending champions East Bengal will meet Kerala Blasters in the opening match, on Sunday evening.
