Bhubaneswar: A girl allegedly tried to commit suicide by jumping into Kuakhai river here as sh
e was upset over the marital dispute between Ollywood actor and MP Anubhav Mohanty and actress Varsha Priyadarshini.
The girl is a resident of Macheswar locality here. She recently passed the +2 Arts examinations.
The girl was rescued by her elder brother and admitted to a private hospital in the city on Sunday.
According to sources, the girl is a fan of Varsha and was unhappy about the dispute between the actress and her husband.
After news of the discord broke out, the girl had even locked herself inside a room in her house and refused to eat.
