Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) closed the Regional Transport Office (RTO) Bhubaneswar-1 office at Acharya Vihar in Odisha capital on Tuesday after four employees tested positive for COVID-19.
“The office was closed to prevent further spread. Now, all the employees will be mandatorily quarantined,” the BMC said in a tweet.
The State Transport Authority (STA) informed that the staff were actively involved in arranging transport for thousands of migrants.
“We wish them a speedy recovery. Their selfless service will inspire all of us to serve our people at this crucial period,” it added.
