Mumbai: Fans of Bigg Boss 18 contestant Rajat Dalal were anticipating that the fitness influencer will outshine Karan Veer Mehra and Vivian Dsena, and win the reality show.
However, Rajat got evicted in third place on the final day and Karan Veer Mehra bagged the Bigg Boss 18 trophy.
Disappointed fans of Rajat are irked with the makers of the show, called Karan’s victory “fixed.”
Rajat’s miffed fans even abused and issued death threats to the Bigg Boss narrator Vijay Vikram Singh on social media.
Vijay Vikram is an actor and voice artist, who has been a part of the Bigg Boss show for the last 15 years.
Vijay appealed to Rajat’s fans to stop abusing him as he is just a narrator on the show.
On one of Vijay’s post on social media, a fan page of Rajat Dalal wrote, “You did wrong with Rajat Dalal; your family and kids will never be happy.”
Soon, Vijay had to disable the comments on his post.
In December 2024, addressing the issue through a video message, Vijay had explained, “Please stop abusing me in the comments section and messages. I just narrate the tasks and timings for the audience in Bigg Boss. I know nothing about the voice that speaks to the contestants. I don’t know if it’s a machine or a real person. So I request the audience to refrain from abusing me.”
Despite this, social media was flooded with hate messages after Digvijay Rathee’s eviction.
In response, Vijay again shared a video message, “Please stop sending hate messages. I am the second voice of Bigg Boss, not the Bigg Boss.”
Vijay has featured in several web series including Manoj Bajpayee’s ‘The Family Man’ (seasons 1 and 2), Kay Kay Menon’s ‘Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story,’ and Kajol’s ‘The Trial.’
