Mumbai: The much-awaited ‘Bigg Boss Season 19’, hosted by Salman Khan, is set to premiere on August 24.
Amid speculation over the celebrities invited to participate in the reality show, a report in India Today revealed the list of confirmed contestants which is as follows:
Gaurav Khanna –– He was seen as ‘Anuj Kapadia’ in the popular television show ‘Anupamaa’. His sudden exit from the show, apparently due to a ‘fight’ with Rupali Ganguly, had left fans disappointed. He recently participated in the cooking show ‘Celebrity MasterChef India’, and emerged as the winner.
Ashnoor Kaur — Child artist-turned-actress, Ashnoor is known for her roles in ‘Patiala Babes’ and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’.
Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar –– Content creators, the real-life couple, who reportedly parted ways earlier this year, will appear on the reality show.
Among others who have been signed for the 19th season of the show include television actors Baseer Ali, Abhishek Bajaj, Hunar Hale, Shafaq Naaz, Siwet Tomar and Khank Waghnani, gaming creator Payal Dhare and writer-actor Zeeshan Quadri.
As per reports, among YouTuber Mridul Tiwari and Shehnaaz Gill’s brother Shehbaz Badesha, fans will vote and decide who will join the show.
Other potential contestants who can join ‘Bigg Boss 19’ are singer Sreerama Chandra, actors Arbaaz Patel, and Nidhi Shah, content creator Priya Reddy, rapper duo Seedhe Maut, social activist Atul Kishan and advocate Ali Kaashif Khan Deshmukh.
‘Bigg Boss 19’ will stream on JioHotstar at 9 pm and air on Colors TV at 10.30 pm.
