Mumbai: In the new promo shared by the makers of ‘Bigg Boss 19’, contestant Neelam Giri is seen breaking down after locking horns with Gaurav Khanna over kitchen duties.
However, the Neelam’s emotional outburst didn’t melt hearts, rather it sparked backlash from netizens, who trolled her for lashing out at Gaurav.
In the viral promo clip, Neelam is seen indulging in a verbal spat with Gaurav, who asked her to carry out the kitchen duties.
Neelam was heard screaming at Gaurav, who was seen having his meal.
When Gaurav requested her to wait for him to finish his meal, she ignored it and continued to shout and scream.
Gaurav said, “I am having food, I’ll discuss this with you later.”
But Neelam continued, “Jab duty distribute hota hai aap bolte hein lunch kar, kyu bolte hein? Kuch aur mudda dhundiya. (When duties are being distributed, you ask me to have my meal. Why do you say so? Try to look for some other topics to argue.)”
To this, Gaurav gave back, “What is wrong with you? Why are you lashing out at me?”
Neelam responded, “Aaplog narrative set karte hein. Khan banane wala insaan ghar se bahar nahi hota hai. (You people have set a narrative that one who cooks is not nominated).”
When Gaurav gave her back saying that her problems are often related to the kitchen, Neelam breaks down saying, “Agar apko lagta hai ki mujhe ghar se bahar chale jana chahiye, to mujhe bhi lagta hai ki apko bhi ghar se bahar hona chahiye. Aap vese bhi kuch ukhad nahi rahe hein ghar mein rehkar. (If you feel I should be evicted, then you too should be eliminated from the game. Anyway, you are not doing anything great on the show.)”
As soon as the promo went viral, netizens started trolling Neelam for lashing out at Gaurav, the one who saved her from nominations.
One wrote, “When #GauravKhanna praised Neelam, saved her from nominations & stood by her, all was fine. The moment he spoke the truth, mirchi lag gayi 😖 She painted him black, skipped his name for captaincy & now plays the victim! Can backbitch but can’t take it.”
Another user wrote, “When #GauravKhanna praised her and saved her in nomination, she never acknowledged that, but now crying for what? Because he just said the truth..😂 Really ungrateful lady.”
A third commented, “Ye pagla gai he ab nomination me aai hena koi nahi bacha sakta isko ab.”
“Agar yahi chiz GK bolta ukhad nahi rahi kuch to Neelam ke chamche muda bana dete,” one comment read.
