Mumbai: Actor and reality show star Sana Makbul is not only in hospital, she is undergoing treatment for a serious health condition.
Sana’s close friend Aashna shared the worrying news on social media, without going into medical details.
Aashana posted a heartfelt note with a photo of Sana, who won Bigg Boss OTT season 3, in a hospital bed.
“My strongest Diva ❤️🧿 I’m so proud of you for showing so much strength and resilience as you battle such a grave condition. Inshallah, you will fight this and come out even stronger… Allah is with you. And I am always standing by you ❤️ Get well soon my love @divasana,” Aashna wrote.
According to sources close to the actress, Sana has been managing autoimmune complications for some months, and this could have caused her sudden hospitalisation.
Despite her serious condition, those around her have praised Sana’s positive attitude and calm composure.
In 2022, Sana had shared on Instagram that she had undergone surgery on her face after a dog bite.
Mumbai-born Sana, who will be turning 32 on June 13, attracted attention with her role as Lavanya in TV series ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?’ in 2011-12. She made her film debut with the 2014 Telugu movie ‘Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya’. She has also featured in Tamil movies like ‘Rangoon ‘(2017).
In 2021, she reached the semifinals of Khatron Ke Khiladi season 11, and emerged champion in the 2024 Bigg Boss OTT season 3.
